Hahaz, cannot believe it... I took 3 days off, tot can go out everyday hav fun... In the end lazy, plus no one to go out with la, so in the end only went out today... Ok la, went to watch Jack Neo's new movie, Lover Matters... Super hilarious, esp since the jokes are so "army"... But it was a last min decision, so only 2 other "eat snake" pple can watch it with me...

Went to eat at Hong Kong Cafe afterwards, and i hav to say that althou it is not like wow (other than the extra sticky peanut buttered piece of bread), we had our fill and ping an shan hui... =p

Today i taught someone who has music background guitar for the first time... Maybe i put too much expectations on the newbie, coz i had a little background myself, and self taught a little too quickly? Well, today i learnt that not everyone can grasp the concept at the same pace... So ya, thank God for letting me hav a brain that is compatible with guitar info... And i pray for my new disciple, that (you know who u are) can grasp the basic concepts fast.. =P

Argh, its maddening.. Chinese New Year coming le, but no money to buy new clothes.. No money to even go out and hav fun properly also... Can't wait for the red packets to start flowing in, at least it helps to tide the low funds crisis...
Booked in last night, juz to realise that everyone took leave, off, or MC the following day... Which means that its me myself and i for the whole night.. So maddening la, didnt know today can take off... Thought there was some impt talk or briefing of some sort to be conducted, thats why i didnt take.. End up its cancelled last week on friday, when i was not in the office... So i did some random stuff in the office today, and if realised by now that i am typing this from home, u shld know wat i did...
Still need to go back on friday thou, need to go old folks home to do area cleaning, some cny thingy that the battalion does evry year... And i hav to stay and do office duty until saturday morning... sianz, it seems so near, yet so far... at least, its only 23 days away...

Sigh... I am so not used to army life after 1 month of civilian exposure... Totally didn't sleep well the first night i went back, apparently the bed smells and feels different.. And ya, my whole bunk was empty for so long, rats came to stay... We actually killed a rat while clearing the infested area...

Had ICT (In Camp Training) for those re-service pple again this month.. And when all those pple arrived, then i realised that my camp has actually 2 well known pple... Well, sylvester sim of s'pore idol 1 was present (for the 1st day only), and there was another actor (of which i dunno how to address him as)... Anyway, despite the star studded cast, the show muz go on, and that one week of teaching and training the NSmen really dragged on... I totally feel like a teacher teaching over aged students... And the catch is u cant actually shout or scold them when they nod off to slp, read the newspaper in lecture, or when the phone rings and they actually had the nerve to pick it up on the spot without having so much as a little courtesy as to walk out to talk... That was some terrible examples of wat u shld not be when u go for re-service...

And i did 2 guard duties this week... Monday and wednesday... Plus all those training/teaching that i hav to do, i totally lost to the Z monster... Another one coming up on sunday, so that will explain why i am not present on the 11th of january...

Sigh... Cant believe i actually spent so much on the 1st day of the year... Plus i did quite alot of weird stuff along the way... It was actually my first time working on new year's eve, so it was something new i guess? It was darn boring la, having to stand for hours at end, for a total of arnd 8 hours, to earn a total of $90.... Althou the money was there, the fun wasn't... Didnt get to see any firework (althou the sound was beyond thunderous), didnt get to see any famous celebs (other than Utt going around on his skateboard)... Ya, it was more or less guard duty, and i thank army for the "stand for hours end to end" training...

After earning the money, i proceed to spend almost all of it la... So sad lor, work for 9 hours juz to spend it in less than the amt of time... I mean, the taxi fare was no joke la... All the way to the club was arnd $10, enterance was $30, and sending pple home to tampines took arnd $20+ also... All that was fine u know, i mean, those money were spent due to a need.... The only major mistake of the new year is that i forgot to take the change from the bak kut teh auntie!! Ok, back track abit... After clubbing, we went to eat bak kut teh, which cost around $38+... I gave the auntie a $50 note, and then totally forgot abt the change le... Juz sat down, ate my fill, and left after that... Only this morning when i woke up at 11 then i recall that i haven take the change back la! The auntie like earn an extra $12 for doing nth lor!!! Crazy, and the bak kut teh not say very nice, service also not very good... Argh, money wasted......

And to make things so much more interesting... I took a bus back home from bedok, when there are bus running on the road alrd... Then since its like totally a long day and night, i dozed off on the bus.... Then u know the sudden jerking movement that u do when u suddenly wake up from a snooze on the bus? Ya, my elbow flew out and hit somebody that was beside me... So paiseh la! Is some old lady somemore lor, dunno whether she hurt anot... Lucky she nv scold me, juz smile at me, then hurry to find a safer spot in the bus... The first day of the new year is totally not wat i expected it to be..
